All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !”



Today, On Sunday, Aug 2, 2020, Amitabh Bachchan And His Son Abhishek Bachchan announced that Amitabh Bachchan has been discharged from hospital after undergoing negative tests for COVID-19.

Abhishek Bachchan Tweeted on his twitter account, “My father, thankfully, has tested negative on his latest Covid-19 test and has been discharged from the hospital. He will now be at home and rest. Thank you all for all your prayers and wishes for him.”



Abhishek, along with his father Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Nanavati Hospital. The father-son duo was admitted to the hospital on July 11. Abhishek’s wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aradhya, who tested positive for COVID-19, were also recently discharged from the hospital.

However, Abhishek has not yet been discharged. He wrote in another tweet, “I, Unfortunately, due to some comorbidities remain Covid-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted. 🙏🏽
I’ll beat this and come back healthier! Promise.”



Amitabh in his tweet thanked the well-wishers for their continued support and prayers. “have tested COViD- have been discharged. I am back home in solitary quarantine. The grace of the Almighty, blessings of Ma Babuji, prayers & duas of near & dear & friends fans EF .. and the excellent care and nursing at Nanavati made it possible for me to see this day.”
